What is the difference between a traditional API and the MCP?
Traditional APIs are designed for rigid machine-to-machine communication. The Model Context Protocol also provides semantic descriptions – this enables AI agents not only to retrieve the tools, but also to independently understand when and how to use them to resolve a user’s query.
What exactly is an MCP app?
